A month's worth of updates for the price of one

I have been away from the blog for a month because I have been busy...below is a taste of what has been going on:

Matt Grant asked me to catch some lycanthropy...
Oh, and we shot a trailer for Elvis Birthday Fight Club:

I did some designs for a new tiki bar on 7th street called Hogo...
But they decided that they liked my large velour paintings better than anything new (and frankly, there wasnt any time to paint anything new anyway)
City Paper put my artwork at the top of the column....

The "Angler Fish" painting in the back of Hogo
I have also been working on designs for the DC Mardi Gras...

Oh, and I read the news for Weekend Update at the Valentine Candy SNL Tribute Show....
I have some artwork in the Artpocalypse show at the Dunes...
I also got the artists of "Voltron's Corpse" a bit more organized....

And I designed some stuff for Hexagon....

And of course, I have been painting like a madman for Avenue Q

And lastly, I finished this painting today....

Missed Necronomicon Pages and Haunted Walk-Thru Video

Spooktacular XIII is complete, and we all had a blast, thank you for attending. There have been lots of folks who could not attend asking about unclaimed Neconomicon pages. Yes, some were unclaimed, so if you would still like one, they are available through the artbyjared website HERE

Also, I have been getting folks asking about the haunted walk-thru, and if there was video of it...well, the only video that survived the night was of the walk-thru during the daytime (with unfortunate narration by yours truly)

Blogger will not let me upload videos from Vimeo, so you will just have to click through the following link to see the video of the Spooktacular XIII walk-thru:

There are more photos of the Spooktacular out there, and I'd love to see them, so please send them along!

LOST NECRONOMICON PAGES FOUND!!!

As you likely know, o faithful Art By Jared Blog reader, I have been creating pages of the Necronomicon as prizes for our annual Spooktacular Halloween party. I am pleased to say that they are complete (all 44 pages are represented below)

All pages are approximately 8"x10" and are mixed media on paper.

If you are unable to attend the event this year, you have the opportunity to purchase a page before the party. Please use this link and you will be directed to Artbyjared.com where you can use the Paypal links (some pages may have already been claimed...)

Happy Halloween!
